Paste with Ctrl+V, drop a file, or paste an image link
Translate a visual novel from a screenshot: Print Screen, Ctrl+V on this page, and the line comes back in English inside the dialogue box. Works with any VN on any platform because nothing is hooked or injected — it’s a paste-and-read loop, not a live overlay.

Two keystrokes per screen.
Print Screen, Win+Shift+S, Shift+Cmd+4, or the emulator’s capture — anything that puts the screen on the clipboard.
Ctrl+V anywhere on this page. The dialogue box, name plate and menus are detected and translated together.
The translation is drawn into the box. Read, advance the game, repeat. Missed a line? Draw a box over it.
No file to save. Screenshot the game, paste on this page, the line is translated. The loop is two keystrokes.
The translation is drawn into the dialogue box where the Japanese was, so you keep the speaker, the portrait and the choices in view.
Because it works from a screenshot it doesn’t care whether the game is on Steam, an emulator, a console capture or a phone. No hooking, no injection.
Dialogue, name plate, choice menu and system text are translated together, so a name in the plate and in the line come out the same.
Both are legitimate. Here is what you trade.
Nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
No — and we’d rather say so up front. It translates a screenshot you paste. That takes a couple of seconds per screen and works with any game, but it isn’t an overlay that follows the text live. If you need live hooking, a text hooker plus a machine translator is the traditional route.
Print Screen → Ctrl+V → about 3–8 seconds → read. For a VN you’re reading at your own pace that’s workable; for a fast-scrolling action game it isn’t.
Dialogue boxes and menus read reliably. Ornate logo fonts and text with heavy effects are the usual misses — draw a box over a missed line and it’s re-read.
